The mission of the Human Resource Benefits Office is to provide the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe members, employees, and all its entities with the best benefits and customer service available. The competitive benefits program will retain the best overall workforce and highly skilled employees.
NOTE: No harrasment, use of alcohol or drugs will NOT be tolerated and will be reported. If any Inappropriate behavior is observed by the Department Directors it must be reported to the Temporary Worker Coordinator immediately so coaching or disciplinary action(s) may be taken.

How do I get started?
Fill out an application at the personnel office in the Human Resource Building. The application will be processed, approved and entered into the finance system. Don't forget your two forms of ID. (driver's license, State ID, Tribal ID, birth certificate, passport or social security card) .
Who can apply?
Ute Mountain Tribal Members that are not currently employed in any other program or department. You must be 18 years or older. If you are 18-21 years old and do not have a High School diploma or GED, you will be required to take an educational assessment and then be enrolled in the GED program 16 hours of the 32 hours a week. The Temporary Worker must not be drawing any other benefits. Examples are: Social Security Benefits, Vocational Rehab, active military duty or WIA program benefits.
